About me
Ever since I was a child I have been busy creating! After school I studied illustration and graphic design in Lyon, Hamburg and Paris before coming to Central Saint Martins College in London with a scholarship. I instantly felt at home with the British joy in ideas, idiosyncrasy and experiments. I stayed for five years before moving to Berlin.
In my creative career so far I have worn a lot of different hats: illustrator, exhibition scenographer, book designer, design educator in schools, museums, universities and corporations, design journalist and curator, self-publisher and volunteer reading buddy in kindergarten.
One passion stayed with me throughout – working with and for children. I started off with a weekly Design Kids Club at my daughter’s school and have not stopped experimenting with different formats of engagement since.
As my first picture book is being published, it feels like a lot of pieces falling into place: my love of picture making, my design experience and my favourite audience. I see a new and exciting creative path stretching ahead. Come along with me!
I live and work in Berlin with my family, a pack of toy dogs and one real ginger cat.
